From The Creator:
This Anya Meditation Method was born from my own practice. I started meditating at 22 years old, and while I experienced meditative states in yoga classes or guided practices, I really learned how to meditate by reading ancient texts and practicing myself.
I began to learn how to direct my mind and attention, how to surpass external chatter and get in touch with my truth. From that place, I began creating - presentations, work, companies. I began processing - emotions, grief, pain. And I began to experience life through an entirely new lens.
Today, meditation is often positioned as a stress reduction tool or a way to escape reality. Meditation is so much more than that. It is THE tool to reconnect with your innate power.Â
I saw the disconnect between traditional meditation and real life, thus the Anya Meditation Method was born.
Meditation has fundamentally changed my life as it's evolved who I am on a cellular level. While I still practice meditation everyday, it’s less about the practice and more about embodied living. How I integrate and take action on my learning in my day to day.
